Drop in a few months of CSV or PDF bank statements. They are read against each other for a typical month's spend, what recurs, and what fees add up to. The files never leave your browser.

Out is money spent; In is money received. The $2,930.00 the sample moved between its own accounts is in neither. Net is everything in minus everything out with those transfers included, which is why it is less than In minus Out.

The same merchant, paid on a steady rhythm: rent, utilities, installments and subscriptions alike. Each row opens to the charges it was read from. Not really recurring? Leave it out and the estimate follows.

12 possible recurring payments in the sample; the tool lists them all. Each is its middle charge twelve times a year at a monthly rhythm, scaled by the gap otherwise.

A merchant counts when it is charged three or more times, 25 to 95 days apart, each charge within 20% of the middle one. A weekly grocery run fails the gap test. The yearly figure is an estimate at the observed rhythm, not a bill: what these merchants would take in twelve months if nothing changed.
The free tier is the whole read. The subscription lifts the file limit and reads the monthly PDF statements.

In your bank or card's website, open Statements or Activity. A CSV download (sometimes 'Excel' or 'spreadsheet') gives the cleanest read and usually covers 12–24 months. The monthly PDF statements work too: each is read from its printed lines, with the in/out sections and the statement period doing the work. Scanned PDFs (no text layer) can't be read.
No. Files are read in your browser's memory and the analysis runs there too. Close the tab and it's gone. There is no upload code in this product, and the privacy page lists the only things that ever reach us.
We sniff rather than assume: for a CSV, the date, description, and either a signed Amount or a Debit/Credit pair, with US, day-first or ISO dates; for a PDF, the transaction lines, the section headings that say in or out, and the statement period for the year. The page tells you exactly how each file was read, and a per-file Flip control fixes a wrong guess in one click. If yours isn't read right, email support@avyth.com with the bank's name (never the file) and we'll add it.
By rhythm: the same merchant charged three or more times, roughly monthly to quarterly, for roughly the same amount. That catches rent, utilities and installments as well as subscriptions, things no keyword list knows about, and leaves your weekly grocery run out. Every row opens to the charges it was read from, and you can mark one as not recurring.
The free tier reads two CSV statements at a time, enough to see the read on your own money. $5 a month reads any number at once and the monthly PDF statements; Everything ($24) unlocks every paid Avyth tool. Sign in on avyth.com and it unlocks here, or paste the key we email once per device.
